About Empowering Voices: em·pow·er /əmˈpou(ə)r/ make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights. This series aims to empower a storyteller — a firsthand account of what HIV/AIDS and their experience means to them, their friends, family, and community.
We want to educate people who watch or read these interviews to feel something, either a motive to learn more about HIV/AIDS, donate, volunteer in their community, become a partner, or purchase something from UNTIL to support the fight against HIV/AIDS. Talking to a person firsthand is as real as it gets, listening to their voices and communicating their stories is one way of uplifting them. Each week we will be releasing a new episode featuring a new person with a unique story.
We hope you enjoy this series!
